Terms and conditions of the relationship of PARAIS EXPERIENCES SL and the hosts

Local CoolTour is the commercial name of PARAIS EXPERIENCES S.L., CIF B72747934, based in Salomó Ben Adret 8, 1-2, 08002 Barcelona, Spain.

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between PARAIS EXPERIENCES S.L. (“Local CoolTour”) and the individuals (“Hosts”) offering tours or experiences through the platform.

By registering as a Host or accepting a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Local CoolTour acts solely as an intermediary between travelers (“Guests”) and Hosts.

The Host is solely responsible for delivering the experience, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

No employment or agency relationship exists between PARAIS EXPERIENCES S.L. and the Host.

Hosts act independently, managing their own schedules and accepting or rejecting bookings as they see fit.

They are responsible for:

• Holding any required licenses or permits.
• Complying with all tax, labor, and social security obligations under their national law.
• Providing professional and respectful service to Guests.

Local CoolTour assumes no liability for the Host’s actions or omissions.

• The Guest pays the full booking amount to PARAIS EXPERIENCES S.L.

• Local CoolTour deducts its intermediation fee (“service fee”) and transfers the net amount to the Host.

• PARAIS EXPERIENCES S.L. issues a formal invoice to the Host for the service fee retained.

  The invoice includes the applicable VAT rate according to the country where the tour takes place, as well as the total price, fee, and net payment.

• The Host accepts this invoice as full and valid documentation of the transaction.

• Each Host remains solely responsible for declaring their own income and fulfilling any tax obligations in their country of residence.

• Guest cancellations:
  • More than 24 hours before the tour: 100 % refund to the Guest.
  • Less than 24 hours before the tour: no refund.
  • When a refund is issued to the Guest, the Host will receive no payment for that booking.
• Host cancellations:
  • The Guest will receive a 100 % refund.
  • The Host will not receive payment for that booking.

The Host acknowledges that:

• Local CoolTour does not organize or operate tours.
• Any claims related to the experience are directed to the Host.
• Local CoolTour’s role is limited to booking and payment intermediation.

The maximum liability of PARAIS EXPERIENCES S.L. shall not exceed the amount of the service fee retained for that booking.
