This park opened its doors in 1843. Some of the attractions include roller coasters, bumper cars, carousels, fairground rides and shooting galleries. It also has a variety of restaurants such as the Nimb, located in an Arabian-style palace, or the St. George's Frigate on a ship. Other famous places in the park are the open-air theatre, the Chinese pagoda and the magnificent entrance gate. A attractive medieval market is held between November and December, which is why many people visit Copenhagen at this time of the year.
