Copenhagen Cathedral
Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the Church of Our Lady is the seat of the Lutheran diocese of the same name, established in 1922.

The first church on the same site dates back to the 12th century, which was succeeded by new buildings on three occasions due to successive fires. The present church is a neoclassical building, designed by the architect Christian Frederik Hansen in the first half of the 19th century.
